Marketing Manager

Generalist in nature, the Marketing Manager is responsible for all marketing activities supporting revenue growth at Helient. Working with the Chief Revenue Officer, Sales Director, and technology practice leadership the Marketing Manager will be proactive in communicating Helient’s message and capabilities to current and future law firm customers. Additionally, the Marketing Manager will play an essential role generating demand and leads in new markets as Helient expands into new verticals.


Marketing Leadership & Research

  • Develop marketing strategy to reach current and new law firm customers
  • Support research and decision-making selecting the next vertical(s) Helient will target
  • Make marketing tool recommendations and support selection
  • Proactive analysis and leadership for new campaigns and markets
  • Analyze sales data to prioritize account-based marketing
  • Measure marketing efficacy and impact upon revenue growth

Inbound Marketing

  • Emphasis on Inbound approach to attract qualified audience in target vertical(s)
  • Work with practice leads to develop rich content relevant to target vertical(s)
  • Create, develop, and refresh blog program, social media, and advertising to support Inbound
  • Lead the development of white papers to communicate technology best-practice
  • Manage website landing pages for demand capture

Digital Marketing & Marketing Communications

  • Email marketing to reach current customers for updates and capability awareness
  • Reach new customers with targeted account-based marketing
  • Manage Helient Social Media accounts: LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.
  • Manage Helient website and propose updates, refreshes etc.
  • Reach strategic partners with updates and capabilities e.g., Microsoft
  • Develop and execute co-marketing strategies with Helient partners e.g., Microsoft
  • Coach Helient team regarding their own “brand” and social media contributions

Sales Support

  • Collaborate with the Sales Director and practice leadership to produce key customer proposals, playbooks, and presentations

Event Planning & Brand

  • Plan and implement Helient’s presence at the International Legal Technology Association (“ILTA”) Conference, every year in August
  • Identify new opportunities for trade shows and events in new target vertical(s)
  • Plan occasional customer and partner-related events
  • Coordinate corporate gifts and giveaways
  • Select and order Helient-branded apparel for the team

Education & Experience

  • Educated to bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Minimum two years’ experience leading digital marketing
  • High level proficiency with modern digital marketing tools
  • Experience with legal technology, desirable but not required

Required Skills

  • Proactive approach with high degree of ownership and accountability
  • Excellent written English with high attention to detail
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills using Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Comfortable working with data and analytics tools like Power BI
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service approach
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Creative-thinker able to innovate and differentiate
  • Able to assimilate, communicate and promote technology trends
  • Comfortable creating and working within budgets

Working Conditions

  • Able to work out of Philadelphia office at least one day per week
  • Otherwise, remote via Microsoft Teams meetings (including video, when appropriate)
  • US East Coast business hours Monday to Friday
  • Occasional travel for conferences or partner events
